Business Background and Experience

 

Having a degree in Industrial Business Management, Klaus studied Sinology and Ethnology in Germany and China. His education is complemented by a certification "Translation Management in Sino-German Cooperation" and a certification in "International Marketing".

 

Before he moved to China, Klaus was operating as Director of the China Education & Training Center Hamburg. For seven years he has been working in Shanghai for the German Chamber of Commerce to combine economic targets with social and cultural considerations.

 

He established PR strategies and leveraged destination image to support marketing strategies and sales. He maximized brand equity and familiarity by the extensive press releases, quality coverage, media FAM trips, events. Furthermore Klaus designed and executed website strategies and online campaigns to activate sales &marketing programs via the web to reach out to a wider target consumers, website and databasemanagement. 

 

Moreover he has gained a lot of experiences in developing, implementing and monitoring the integrated marketing plans, strategies and advertising campaigns, effective media buying to drive the marketing promotion.
