Amanda is an executive coach, team coach, group coach and facilitator. She works with executives, managers and teams in the public, private and not for profit sectors. Her collaborative style brings a presence and sensitivity to her work which allows clients to safely engage in reflective yet challenging conversations which lead to enhanced self- awareness and capability at a personal, team and organisational level. Amanda also volunteers her coaching services in the not-for-profit, schools and youth/children sectors.
Amanda has over 30 years of organisational experience. She became a full-time coach and facilitator in 2003. Her career commenced in 1983 with Ernst & Young where she worked for 20 years in Australia and overseas. After a short time in the audit field, she moved into project work to implement the firm's new technology, knowledge management and change management initiatives. In this role Amanda designed and facilitated training programs; provided coaching and mentoring to executive partners, staff, and teams; and enjoyed collaborating in team-based environments to manage key stakeholder relationships across the firm.
Amanda uses a strength-based, solutions-focused approach combined with adult learning theory, adult development theory, executive coaching frameworks and leadership theories and frameworks combined with the evidence-based research and practices from the fields of appreciative inquiry, positive psychology, and mindfulness.
Her tailored approaches create the right space for reflective and insightful conversations. This enables clients to find a deep clarity and perspective about their style, purpose and values, and to determine how to lead themselves and their organisations successfully.
