Irene has been a leader in both the public and private sector for more than 25 years. She is also a competent coach, facilitator, presenter, program developer and business strategist.
Irene has been a leader in both the public and private sector for more than 25 years. She is also a competent coach, facilitator, presenter, program developer and business strategist. In her present role Irene coaches executives, facilitates coaching, mentoring and conversation programs as well as assisting large corporates to implement a coaching culture.
Prior to joining IECL, Irene's extensive business background includes leading large vocational colleges in metropolitan Sydney, managing a hotel, partnering with an international organization to deliver education, heading up a number of educational faculties across the broader Sydney area and having a seat on the Board.
Since 2006 Irene has been actively engaged in the coaching profession and has successfully coached personnel in the higher education, health, finance, insurance, marketing, and not-for-profit sectors. Irene also facilitates coaching, mentoring and conversation programs for professionals and delivers seminars and workshops.
Professional roles Irene has held previously include:
National Director, Education & Training for CSA; Strategic Business Director for Sydney Institute: Associate Director, NSI/College Director Ryde TAFE; and as a consultant for AusAID and NZAID.
Coaching: Irene's strength-based coaching style enables clients to reflect, examine and confront issues impacting their performance or work environment. Through support and challenge coachees gain clarity, insight and breakthrough outcomes to produce rich, rewarding and sustainable change.
Facilitation: As a master facilitator, Irene's focus is not only on WHAT has to be achieved but also on HOW people participate in the process to ensure accountability, responsibility and ownership for the outcomes.
