Andy is a Principal Facilitator and Coach - People and Leadership for IECL and as a member of our Education Faculty and in-house Delivery Team is responsible for the facilitation of public and corporate programs across Australia. In his previous role as Principal Queensland, Andy was responsible for the growth of all aspects of the business across Queensland.


Andy has worked in the coaching and leadership development industry since the early 2000's and is passionate about the relationship between behaviour and performance in the pursuit of sustainable change and exceptional results.


He is a leadership team member of the International Coach Federation Queensland Branch, supporting the development of coaching across Queensland and the partnership between the ICF and IECL.


He has held advisory and consulting positions across the financial services, government and sporting sectors across Australia and the United Kingdom. His work now is focused on the development of individuals, teams and organisations through coaching, facilitation, supervising and mentoring. 


Business Background and Experience


Andy’s extensive experience in coaching began during his time as a professional rugby player and as a Training Officer in the London Fire Brigade in the late 1990s. These roles provided him with early experience in coaching at an elite level and the opportunity to employ those skills across culturally diverse teams to help others achieve their goals.


He has successfully parlayed that experience to coach executives and senior leaders in organisations both in the UK and Australia and has held leadership development roles within organisations such as the London Fire Brigade, Suncorp and 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.


Andy has worked with clients across many industries and backgrounds with notable recent success within finance, mining, resources, insurance, marketing, legal, not-for-profit, professional sports and health sectors.



Andy’s friendly and engaging style creates an environment of respect allowing for supportive and challenging conversations with executives, senior leaders and elite athletes to focus on individual strengths and decision making.


In taking a whole person approach, he focuses on both the physical and mental aspects of your world to identify routines and habits that create a winning mindset and exceptional performance.
