COACHING EXPERIENCE

Irene's coaching experience has embraced the following types of coaching: skills and performance, developmental, transformational, executive and leadership coaching. She holds a significant presence in the university and vocational sector, but also coaches in the financial, health, engineering, insurance, marketing, and public sectors. Irene considers coaching a privilege and is enthusiastic to work with individuals, groups, and teams across organisations to help them grow and develop.   

COACHING STYLE AND APPROACH

Irene's coaching style enables counterparts to reflect, examine and confront issues impacting their performance or work environment. Through support and challenge, counterparts gain clarity, insight and breakthrough results to produce rich, rewarding and sustainable change. Irene draws on narrative, cognitive behavioural coaching (CBC), positive psychology and transactional analysis to inform her coaching approach.

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE

Irene's business background includes leading large vocational colleges in metropolitan Sydney, managing a hotel, and holding a seat on the Board for NSI. Professional roles have included: Head of Education, IECL; National Education Director, Governance Institute of Australia; Strategic Business Development Director, SI; College Director, Ryde; and Consultant, AusAID and NZAID.
