IECL is in alignment with the International Coach Federation. We believe the client is the expert in their life and work,
and our coaching approach honours that. With this philosophy in mind, we believe it is the coach’s responsibility to:

– Discover, clarify and align with what the client wants to achieve

– Encourage client self-discovery

– Elicit client-generated solutions and strategies

– Give the client responsibility and accountability.

Adult Learning

Our approach to coach training is based on adult learning theory. This means it’s highly experiential and practical. As a result our students leave our training with the confidence to coach right away.
